Colorless discharge, called leucorrhea, occurs in every woman. Their appearance is considered ordinary. Not many people know, but the male body is also capable of excreting fluids. Men, as a rule, pay less attention to this than women, but only until the white skin becomes very much and begins to cause discomfort.
What discharge in men is considered normal
Discharge in men is the appearance of multi -colored fluid or mucus from the outer opening of the urethra. This phenomenon is most often the norm, but in some cases it may indicate the presence of disease.
It is quite easy to see the appearance of a lot of secretions. They can appear throughout the day, after a long sleep or urination. Small fluid from the urethra can be seen with the appearance of small flesh-colored or white spots on the panties.
This process is considered normal in the following cases:
- With strong sexual stimulation, against the background of erections (smegma, natural lubrication);
- During wet dreams (spontaneous eruption of sperm);
- With current attempts to defecate;
It should be noted that the appearance of a small amount of white or clear fluid on the head of the penis during strong stimulation is not considered a deviation from the norm, but rather, indicates the reproductive health of a man.
Anxiety should lead to the appearance of vaginal discharge outside of sexual intercourse, when the penis is not in an aroused state. Their appearance most often indicates the presence of any inflammatory process in the organs of the reproductive system. Specialists can make an accurate diagnosis by conducting diagnostic examinations. Often the appearance of discharge from the urethra is one of the main symptoms of sexually transmitted diseases such as chlamydia. Often they ridicule such a phenomenon, they say: "it drips from the tip", but there is nothing funny about the presence of the disease.
White, cheap, gray, yellow or transparent - that can mean color
Male, as well as female, releases may vary in color, transparency and consistency. These symptoms vary depending on the disease leading to the white appearance, its intensity and stage. Discharge is usually a combination of cells, fluid, and mucus. Transparency depends, as a rule, on the number of cells present in it. The white turbidity indicates the presence of a large number of cells in it, with a large number of epithelial cells, the fluid becomes thick and acquires a gray color. The greenish and yellow colors are a sign of the dominance of leukocytes in it. Whitishness, whiteness that comes out of the urethra indicates the presence of diseases such as candidiasis (thrush).
Male candidiasis is a rare phenomenon. The cause may be a decrease in immunity due to uncontrolled use of antibiotics, chemotherapy treatment, etc. A man whose immunity is normal will not get candidiasis from his sexual partner. Therefore, the appearance of its main symptoms is a reason to contact a specialist and undergo a complete diagnosis of the body.
When a patient complains of coming out of the urethra, the doctor usually sends him for analysis. Under laboratory conditions, they were carefully studied. Using a microscope, you can determine the presence of Trichomonas, gonococci, yeast fungi in the patient's body. If bacteria are found that cannot be identified using microscopic methods, inoculation of secretions on nutrient medium is prescribed. Treatment is most often done with antibiotics, however, until a correct diagnosis is established, taking medication does not make sense. In such cases, doctors prescribe broad -spectrum antibiotics, and when making a diagnosis, take specific medications. Medications alone usually do not bring positive results, but, on the contrary, contribute to the transition of the disease into a latent chronic form.
Fluid from the urethra is secreted as the body’s response to the presence of any infection in it. With their abundance, one can assess the extent of the development of this infection. Often the main reason for the appearance of leucorrhea in men is the development of a disease called urethritis (inflammation of the urethra). In this case, the mucous membrane produces a large amount of mucus and red blood cells, which are protective factors. Fluid accumulated at the site of inflammation is also mixed with secretions.
The second most common cause of discharge in a man is mechanical damage to the urethra contained in the urine of chemicals, salt crystals. The release of small stones also contributes to damage to the inner wall of the urethra.
White fluid, itching and burning - what is it?
White discharge from the urethra, accompanied by severe itching and burning, is a sign of:
- chlamydia (an infectious disease spread through unprotected sexual intercourse, the causative agent of which is considered to be chlamydia);
- mycoplasmosis (a widespread infectious disease caused by mycoplasmas - organisms between bacteria and viruses);
- ureaplasmosis (infectious, sexually transmitted disease, the main causative agent of which is considered a unicellular organism - ureaplasmas).
White discharge, which has a foamy consistency, often indicates the presence in the body of an infectious disease, the most common venereal disease in the world - trichomoniasis.
And, finally, the appearance of white fluid from the urethra can be one of the symptoms of a very unpleasant and dangerous disease - prostatitis. In this case, the appearance of vaginal discharge is usually accompanied by difficulties in the process of urination and disturbances in sexual life. Sometimes the discharge may indicate prostorrhea or urethrorrhea. An accurate diagnosis is always made only by a urologist.
As you can see, in many cases, the appearance of discharge in men is an important cause for immediate medical concern and attention, as treatment of most diseases of the genitourinary system that does not begin at that time can lead to serious consequences such as impotence or infertility.
